Our Quality
Dear Customer:

QplusDental have a commitment to offer only top-quality products and service to our customers.

This is the one area of our business where we feel that no compromise can be allowed. Of course, this means that we work together only with suppliers that can help us realize our quality vision.

Technical Properties

Although we fulfill all of the ISO-stipulated requirements listed above, we go above and beyond whenever possible. Specifically, this means that our cartridge products have technical properties that match or exceed the properties you’d find from the original equipment manufacturer.

Retention Force
Force required to extract the bur from the chuck >30N

Thumb Force
Force required to open the chuck mechanism using the push button 25N30N

Part Hardness
The hardness of all parts including axis, on which the bearings are mounted 60- 65 HRC

Bur Runout
The radial deviation of a bur, from completely concentric, when turned measured 6cm from the end of the rotor‘s axis part < 0.015mm

Balance

The amount of rotor imbalance , expressed as a mass at a certain distance from the center of rotation < 0.2mgmm

ISO Compliance

In order to fulfill the vision spelled out in our quality philosophy, we have to ensure that we deliver the top technical characteristics for all products. In the case of our rotor assemblies, this means that absolutely all requirements of globally recognized standards are respected. Our rotors fulfill the requirements for the following ISO norms:

ISO 7785-1 & 2 Technical Requirements for air- and motor-driven dental handpieces.
_______________________________________________________________________________________

ISO 1797 Specifications for the burs and mandrels that are used with dental handpieces.
_______________________________________________________________________________________

ISO 9687 Description of the graphical symbols to be used for dental equipment.
_______________________________________________________________________________________

ISO 13060 Process description for sterilization of medical devices.
_______________________________________________________________________________________

ISO 14457 The draft new norm of dental hand pieces and motors, which replaces ISO 7785 and ISO 13294.

Testing a handpiece to verify performance is more than just measuring rpm.

Test chuck retention force with a
retention force gauge.
Measure run-down time from full
speed to a stop.
Test rpm with an rpm measurement tool.

Check thumb force required to
open chuck.
Feel hand piece vibration inoperation.
Also check head and back cap for heat
generation.
Measure sound (and identify possible
issues) on dB spectrometer.

All rotors are balanced in our house with the best balance machine according with Compliance ISO with less than 0,2 mgmm.
